Call into the Tourist Information Centre housed in the clock tower and pick up a brochure giving details of a number of walks in and around Dufftown. These walks take you past many of the sites of interest in the Dufftown area, (the church, distilleries, the giant’s chair to name only a few).

There are many distilleries in the area these include The Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Glen Grant, Strathisla, Glen Moray, Cardhu and you must include a visit to the Speyside Cooperage at Craigellachie. For more information click on the link www.maltwhiskytrail.com
Dufftown Highland Games are held on the last Saturday of July every year.
Dufftown has an 18 hole golf course that welcomes visitors ‘A hidden gem’ as it has been referred to- full details of this beautiful course can be found on their website www.dufftowngolfclub.com
Speyside is also the home of two whisky festivals. In spring The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival takes place between the 1st May - 10th May inclusive and in Autumn there is the Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival that starts on the 26th September and ends on the 29th September. On Monday evenings you are welcome at the Dufftown Royal British Legion for a Stramash or on a Thursday evening there is a Ceildh held alternate weeks in The Commercial Hotel and the Royal British Legion
